Putin's Alive: Security Council Meeting 10/30

Various BigLie Outlaw US Empire Media outlets are again saying Putin has died and so forth. Yes, the Kremlin’s website has been silent for a few days over the weekend as the Gaza Genocide expanded, but today a long readout from the Security Council meeting was published that consists of his opening remarks. I still greatly disagree with Putin’s framing of the 7 October events, but I’m powerless to change his POV and can only report. But before he reiterates his previous assessment, he produces a very important caveat you shall all read. I notice that this transcript needs a much finer level of translation. There’s also a video available for those wanting to do their own translation. Just be aware that with Russian it’s easy to juggle the meanings incorrectly. The photos taken of the participants reveal stern faces as this is very serious business—I don’t recall ever seeing Putin as he appears below.

The overall title the Kremlin gives to this meeting is “Meeting with members of the Security Council, the Government and the leadership of law enforcement agencies.” The inclusion of the latter agencies signifies the seriousness given to the meeting and its content. IMO, Russia sees the event in Dagestan as an element of escalation and is reacting accordingly. There’re many portions deserving emphasis, but I’m leaving them alone so the reader can feel the emotion in the words without aid. What follows are Putin’s remarks:

Vladimir Putin: Dear colleagues,

I wanted to discuss a wide range of issues with you today.

The Minister of Defense [Sergei Shoigu] has returned from a business trip abroad, will talk about its results, report on the progress of a special military operation.

Let's talk, of course, about the situation in the Middle East, and about ensuring the rule of law and order in Russia itself. Let's talk about protecting the rights of our citizens and public safety, civil peace and interethnic harmony, including taking into account external threats.

At a recent meeting with leaders of religious associations, as you know, I spoke about attempts to use the dramatic situation in the Middle East and other regional conflicts against our country – against Russia-to destabilize and split our multi-ethnic and multi-religious society. For this purpose, a variety of means are used, as we see: lies, provocations, and sophisticated technologies of psychological and informational aggression.

To reiterate, those behind the conflict in the Middle East and other regional crises will take advantage of their devastating consequences to sow hatred and to pit people against each other all over the world. This is the real mercenary goal of such geopolitical puppeteers.

We remember how the current round of the Middle East crisis began – with a terrorist attack against civilians of Israel and other countries on the territory of this state. We also see that instead of punishing criminals and terrorists, unfortunately, they have taken revenge on the principle of collective responsibility. The terrible events that are now taking place in the Gaza Strip, when hundreds, thousands of innocent people are being indiscriminately killed, who simply have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from the bombardment, cannot be justified in any way. When you look at the bloodied children, at the dead children, at the suffering of women, old people, and doctors – of course, your fists clench and tears come to your eyes. There's no other way to put it.

But we should not, have no right to, and cannot afford to be guided by emotions. We must clearly understand who is really behind the tragedy of the peoples of the Middle East and other regions of the world, who organizes the deadly chaos, and who benefits from it. Today, in my opinion, it has already become obvious and understandable for everyone – customers [?] act openly and brazenly.

It is the current US ruling elites and their satellites that are the main beneficiaries of global instability. They extract their blood rent from it. Their strategy is also obvious. The United States as a global superpower – everyone can see and understand this, even from the trends in the global economy-is weakening and losing its position. The American-style world, with one hegemon, is being destroyed, leaving, gradually but steadily becoming a thing of the past.

But the United States does not want to put up with this; on the contrary, they want to preserve and extend their dominance, their global dictatorship, and in conditions of general chaos it is more convenient to do this, because with the help of such chaos they expect to restrain and destabilize their competitors, as they say, their geopolitical opponents, which include our country, and in fact, there are new centers of global development, sovereign, independent countries that do not want to humiliate themselves and play the role of lackeys.

Today, Russia is not just actively participating in the formation of a new, more just, multipolar world with equal rights and opportunities for all countries and civilizations. We are not only one of the leaders of this objective historical process, but I will say more, and everyone knows it: for our future, for the principles of a just world order, for the freedom of countries and peoples, Russia is fighting on the battlefield. We fight consistently, and our soldiers and officers, our heroes, fight and lose their comrades.

I will repeat again: the US ruling elites and their satellites are behind the tragedy of the Palestinians, the carnage in the Middle East as a whole, the conflict in Ukraine, and many other conflicts in the world – in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and so on. This is already obvious to everyone. They are the ones who plant their military bases everywhere, constantly use military force on occasion and without any occasion, and send weapons to conflict zones. They also send financial resources, including to Ukraine and the Middle East, and incite hatred in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Without achieving results on the battlefield, they want to split us from within, as far as Russia is concerned, weaken us and sow confusion. They are also not satisfied with any participation of Russia in solving world and regional problems, including the Middle East settlement. They don't like it at all when someone doesn't act or speak at their direction. They believe only in their own exclusivity, in the fact that everything is allowed to them.

They do not need a lasting peace in the Holy Land, they need constant chaos in the Middle East, so they discredit in every possible way those countries that insist on an immediate cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, on stopping the bloodshed, and are ready to make a real contribution to resolving the crisis, and not parasitize on it. Even the UN and the clearly expressed position of the international community are being attacked, harassed and discredited.

I want to emphasize that our approach to the situation in the Middle East, unlike the West, has never been self-interest, intrigue and double standards. We have stated and continue to state our position openly, and it does not change from year to year. The key to resolving the conflict is to create a sovereign, independent Palestinian State, a full-fledged Palestinian State. We have spoken openly, honestly and more than once about this to both the Palestinian and Israeli leadership.

I repeat: the truth is that the stronger Russia becomes, the more united our society becomes, the more effectively we will be able to defend both our own national interests and the interests of those peoples who have become victims of Western neo-colonial policies.

I will emphasize once again: you need to know and understand where the root of evil is, where this very spider, which is trying to entangle the whole planet, the whole world with its web and wants to achieve our strategic defeat on the battlefield, uses people who have been fooled by it for decades on the territory of today's Ukraine. By fighting this very enemy in the framework of a special military operation, I want to emphasize once again that we are strengthening the positions of all those who are fighting for their independence and sovereignty.

The events in Makhachkala last night were inspired, among other things, through social networks, not least from the territory of Ukraine, by the hands of agents of Western special services. In this connection, I want to ask myself: is it possible to help Palestine by trying to attack Tats and their families? Tats, by the way – are the titular nation in Dagestan. The only way to help Palestine is to fight those who are behind this tragedy. We, Russia, are fighting them in the framework of a special military operation, it is with them – both for ourselves and for those who strive for real, true freedom.

By the way, I never cease to be surprised by the Kiev regime and their masters across the ocean. We know that Bandera and other Hitler's henchmen have already been elevated to the podium, and we know and see how the Ukrainian leadership applauds the Nazis of the Second World War, who were responsible for the victims of the Holocaust, personally took part in these crimes, and today, under the leadership of their Western patrons, is trying to inspire pogroms in Russia. By the way, I'm not sure if all the leadership circles in the same States are aware of this. It would be nice for those who supposedly care so much about Israeli citizens to investigate what their special services are doing in Ukraine, if they are trying to inspire pogroms in Russia. Scum, that's all. There's no other way to say it.

But those who truly stand up for truth and justice, fight against evil and oppression, racism and neo-Nazism, which the West encourages, are now fighting at the front – near Donetsk, Avdiivka, on the Dnieper. I repeat: these are our soldiers and officers. The choice of a real man, a real warrior – is to take up arms and stand in line with your brothers. To be where the fate of Russia and the entire world is being decided, including the future of the Palestinian people.

I would like to draw the attention of the heads of all regions, heads of law enforcement agencies and special services to the need for firm, timely and clear actions to protect the constitutional order of Russia, the rights and freedoms of our citizens, and interethnic and interreligious harmony.

Let's move on to discussing all the suggested topics. 

Although it seems as if Putin is addressing a much larger audience of regional heads, he isn’t. But he’s clearly angered. I’ve several ideas why beyond the fact that he’s very upset over what’s occurring. This is his most direct indictment of the Outlaw US Empire he’s ever made as he names it as THE #1 culprit responsible for the mayhem that it organized to further its interests. Note that he doesn’t mention the longstanding Zionist genocidal project at all, and we can infer why—that project is being used as a tool, just as all of the Empire’s previous terrorist tools have been used to promote its interests to collect its “blood rent.” IMO, it’s absolutely clear that this meeting must be made known to all of Humanity.
